Current result snapshot (non-final matrix):This controlled snapshot (a non-final six-way matrix) contains the two a040_048 v2 hot-source strategies, a040_056 no-BKG, and the two a048_056 strategies newly completed by the storage-safe retry. All are pure replots from accepted terminal saved sessions. a040_056 background-anchored is still running and explicitly awaits a new result; no old output is shown or used. No page contains formal Sherpa confidence, and the XSherpa baseline is not yet PLOT_QUALIFIED.
M31 SrcApec six-way joint-fit comparison
Independent fit artifacts for three region definitions × two foreground strategies.
Comparison design:Each entry includes SrcApec, MWhotHalo norm=0 frozen, and per-spectrum MOS lines/SP. The no-BKG strategy jointly fits the foreground in the source region; the BKG-anchor strategy first derives an anchor from the same final usable M31CGM set of 21 080073*01 ObsIDs / 42 MOS background spectra, then fixes LHB/MWhalo in the source region and fixes then releases the CXB norm (the index remains frozen).
Parameter-interpretation boundary:The table below reports only the best fit, frozen state, and configured bounds of the saved terminal fit. This run has no Sherpa confidence result, so no formal errors are displayed or fabricated. If SrcApec norm is at its lower bound, its kT cannot receive a physical interpretation.
